More on working out
Written by SBF on January 25, 2011 – 8:53 amAs I mentioned before, I’m trying to get a little more exercise in my schedule. Especially since I work at home, there are days I don’t walk further than the front door.
Add that to the fact I have a car now, I spend a lot less time walking around than I did before. So, before I’ve got an emergency need for fat burner supplements, I’m trying to take care of things myself.
Hopefully it works and I can be in better shape next year than this year.

Foodstuffs

The boyfriend and I had dinner last night at a bar we love. Everything there was moving kind of slow because their receipt printer was broken, which apparently causes all manner of trouble for restaurants. Who knew.
Anyway, we paid cash so it didn’t really matter, but lots of people were annoyed. Silly things like that never really bug me. I mean, if I’d been stuck standing on a street corner maybe I’d be pissed. But I was sitting somewhere I like and had to have an extra drink. No bad there.

Crunchin’
Written by SBF on January 23, 2011 – 10:55 pmPart of my new get healthy plan for the year includes doing some actual exercise. Walking to the bar or carrying groceries home do not count.
The problem I have is I will never go to the gym. No matter how close it is or how much I pay, I never go.
So I have to exercise in some way I can so at home. Right now I’m doing a half hour of yoga in the morning then a couple of other things like a lower ab workout and jogging a couple times a week.

New phone shopping
Written by SBF on January 22, 2011 – 4:43 pmIt’s the least wonderful time of every two years. Hmm, that didn’t really work, and it isn’t true.
My cell phone contract expires in a few weeks and I’m going to get a new phone. I love trying to figure out what new shiny thing I’m going to get. I’m deciding between the htc desire android and one of the new blackberrys.
The boyfriend is trying to influence me, to no avail. I’m choosing based on reviews and price, not coolness. Okay, I’m choosing based on coolness. Can’t help it. Shiny!
