Up all night
Written by SBF on June 30, 2010 – 3:27 pmYou know, there’s a big difference between being out all night and up all night. Out all night suggests wild and crazy fun. Up all night usually means pacing or watching bad television at 4am.
Last night I was up all night. Had a long nap in the afternoon and could not go to sleep. However, I was very productive. I posted listings for some stuff we want to get rid of on Craigslist – a mattress, a bookcase, and some luggage, if you’re interested.
Now, 12 or so hours later, I’ve had offers on all items and there are a couple of people coming over this evening to look at the stuff.

Not that bad, seriously
Written by SBF on June 21, 2010 – 10:24 amEr, sorry. The tone of my previous post was a lot more negative than I intended. Things are going fine. You know, lots to do, but that’s okay with me. The boyfriend is doing well too. Right now I’m trying to learn a bit about log furniture, for two reasons. First, I never knew it existed. And second, because it is, in fact, awesome.
And the third non-reason is that you know how obsessive I can be. Which can be a useful personality trait in times of stress like this, because I get hyper-focused on something.

Uh, wow
Written by SBF on June 20, 2010 – 8:01 pmSorry for being MIA again for so long. Life has seriously gotten in the way. The boyfriend is leaving his job and we’re trying to figure out what to do. We certainly can’t live on what I make alone for very long.
So, the last few days have been spent crunching a lot of numbers, checking savings balances and the like.
Right now my goal is to make sure we’re secure enough to give him some time to figure out what happens next, without too much pressure.
