30 going on 13?

I knew the good mood couldn’t last. The boyfriend just asked me what’s going on with my face. He means the zits. For some reason lately I’ve been breaking out a lot. It must be some new product I’m using or maybe laundry detergent.

Whatever it is, I’m finding myself for the first time in a very long time looking into how to get rid of acne, and quickly. Charming. I had terrible skin when I was going through puberty, and always stressed out about it.

Hopefully this time I can get rid of it, determine the cause and behave like a mature adult (yeah right) about it.

Speaking of which, the movie 13 going on 30 was such a piece of crap, right?

Speaking of sandwiches

I wasn’t? Oh, fine. Wasn’t speaking of motorhome insurance either, but you didn’t complain about that.

Why am I not making any sense? Because I can’t. Make sense that is. Right now I’m way too happy to do anything useful or helpful. Life is good, the weather is bad, and I’m having a happy for no real reason day. So I’m going with it, you dig?

Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll be annoyed and surly about something post-haste.

To car or not to car?

Now that we live in a house with off-street free parking, the boyfriend and I have been talking about getting a car. We seem to be renting a couple of times a month lately, which is getting expensive. We both have families within driving distance, and it makes sense.

He’ll probably buy it because he can get some deals through his company, and he’s more into driving everywhere. So I’ve been buying him magazines and sending links to sites to check for info. Of course, he’s more interested in checking out the cool auto accessories than anything else, which is useless without the actual vehicle.

Never let it be said that logic and common sense get in the way of his good time.

We’re Moving!!!

Some time in the next few days we’re going to be moving the blog to a new host. Nothing should change for you, unless you happen to catch it on the awkward transition day. Have no fear, we’ll be back.

I say “we,” but J is doing everything. My contribution was convincing her by getting her drunk last weekend.

The saga continues

Today we discovered that my mother thinks I’m getting fat and my father thinks I’m too thin. Thanks, ‘rents! I assume they’re trying to make my head explode, and it is working.

Weight is something I never really thought that much about. I’ve always been thin, but never scrawny. Anyway, spending a lot of time with a client doing research on the best appetite suppressants and such is making me really think about food for the first time.

It also occurred to me that now I’m in my 30s, things start to change, physically. But thinking about health is a good thing, as long as you’re not obsessive about it.

Secret

Couple of things today:

First, my ever expanding random knowledge continues. This week we added a bunch of things. First, life insurance leads and sandwich names. More on that later.
