Ok, one quick Mechanical Turk update
Written by SBF on October 4, 2008 – 1:32 pmI have enough brain power to do this one thing today, update the status from my Amazon Mechanical Turk experiment.
I submitted a total of 11 tasks (or HITS), and have only had 4 approved so far. Not exactly moving at lightening speed there. I’ll wait until some of the others go through, since requesting $1.46 seems silly. Oh, and all told, the 11 took less than an hour to complete, so we’ll see what the rate ends up being.

Hungover, low on sass
Written by SBF on October 4, 2008 – 9:44 amOof. I’ve got a serious hangover today, so I won’t really be posting. However, I do have some interesting results from MyLot coming up, so assuming I don’t go out tonight, I’ll have a review up tomorrow.

House passes bail out bill
Written by SBF on October 3, 2008 – 11:43 amThe Us House of Representatives just passed the revised bail out bill for the economy. Hopefully things will get a little better, but of course, they’re going to get worse when we have to pay the $7 billion.
Hooray for governmental lose/lose situations.
I plan to do my part to support the economy by shopping and drinking. I’m such a giver.

That’s a lot of shows for me. Not sure I can keep up. I know lots of people watch 2-3 hours of primetime TV every day. How, I ask you? I can barely keep up. Of course, I’m also watching Lost from the beginning, so that adds 5 more a week. Yikes.
