Work from home sites fry my brain

Being a consultant for a year has been an amazing experience for me. There’s been a lot of good and a lot of bad. One thing that’s been good and bad at the same time is learning to manage my life a lot more than I had to before. Buying my own health insurance. Opening a an IRA. Quarterly taxes. Oh, don’t get me started on taxes.

Like any good modern woman I did a lot of research about this stuff, mostly online. And yikes. The searching turned up a lot of stuff about work from home jobs. Lots of good tips, sure. But also a lot of scams, and fake opportunities. Having free time and earning a couple of bucks with it is cool. But I have no idea how anyone can wade through the craziness.

I have more thoughts on this, and will share soon. And it occurs that a fun experiment might be checking some of these out.
